the best macarons
in town

Very close to the Zoological Museum Hamburg, a small, almost inconspicuous café is tucked away in the basement. On weekends, Pynk Coffee serves a truly delightful breakfast: fluffy egg drop sandwiches, creamy avocado toast – all prepared with such loving attention to detail. And be sure to order the iced matcha with the cute ice teddy bear. It's worth the visit for that alone. But Pynk is also an absolute highlight during the week. They serve what are probably the most delicious macarons in the city – and I'm telling you: once you've had a bite, you'll never want to eat macarons anywhere else. Baked fresh every day, always new varieties, so much love and attention to detail – you stand there and simply can't decide. You can find more information here:

get creative at
the porcelain shop

At the porcelain shop on Schmuggelstieg, you'll find a huge selection of unpainted ceramics that you can then paint yourself. Whether cups, plates, or figurines, there's something for every age and taste. Your chosen colors and firing the porcelain are already included in the price. And if you've never worked with unpainted ceramics before, don't worry: You'll receive a thorough introduction to the various techniques beforehand, so even beginners can quickly achieve creative success. A visit to Langenhorn is worthwhile even without painting, as there have been several new restaurants and cafes since the beginning of the year. Be sure to stop by and get inspired!
